Job Description


We are seeking a skilled BIM Architectural Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architectural drafting and proficiency in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role involves collaborating with architects and engineers to create accurate and detailed architectural drawings and models, ensuring all designs meet project specifications and standards.


Responsibilities


  • Create and maintain detailed 3D models of architectural designs using BIM software (e.g., Revit, ArchiCAD).
  • Prepare comprehensive architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Work closely with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to understand design intent and integrate changes into models and drawings.
  • Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications, reports, and presentation materials.
  • Review drawings and models for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project standards.
  • Participate in coordination meetings to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless integration of architectural and engineering elements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting and BIM modeling, preferably in a similar role.
  • Proficient in BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks), AutoCAD, and other relevant design tools.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction methods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
