ResponsibilitiesNegotiate contracts and deals with sellers and distributors during procurement and management of goods and servicesEnsure compliance with regulations and practices by maintaining an ethical stance through and throughBoost cost savings by analyzing market trends and technologies that promote itDeep dive into research and chalk out potential vendors and suppliers for purchase and material managementDocument, log and report on procurement activitiesApprove purchase orders and ensure the timely delivery of goods and servicesBuild and foster long-term relationships with existing and potential suppliersCreate PO’S and challans as per requirements

Required skills and qualificationsBachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics or a similar fieldPrior experience working as a procurement manager or in the supply chain fieldAttention to detail along with outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience working with vendors, suppliers or managing a team of procurement professionalsPreferred skills and qualificationsExperience devising procurement strategies or managing procurement budgetsProficiency in common data analysis tools
