About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our Price Product team. As OEMs and suppliers transform at scale, managing pricing across a vast array of products becomes exceedingly complex, especially amidst ongoing market volatility. Syncron Price enables customers to maximize profitability and market share by offering pricing analysis, data insights and multiple simulation capabilities to optimally price items real time based on market needs.

As a Product Owner for Syncron Price, you are the liaison between product management, product development and other stakeholders, translating business needs into product requirements, and making our B2B software products come to life. This role is based in Bengaluru, though you will be working with other team members across Syncron’s global offices.

As Product Owner you are responsible for planning and managing the development of one or several components in the pricing product. The role is truly cross-functional. You will gather, document and prioritize business needs and translate these to clear product requirements – epics and user stories. You work closely with the product development organization in shaping and testing new releases and interact with the customers, customer success organization and Pre-sales in refinement and further development of the features.

We are looking for a person who would like to be part of an international team building a world-class SaaS solution targeting aftermarket profitability and service optimization.

What would you do?
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, for assigned features / components(s) within Syncron Price.
  • Define and prioritize product features based on market research, customer feedback, and business goals, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders, to translate requirements into actionable user stories and development tasks.
  • Drive sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management activities, maintaining a clear roadmap and timeline for product delivery.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to product development, advocating for user needs and preferences throughout the design and development process.
  • Monitor product performance metrics, conduct user testing, and gather insights to iterate on product enhancements and optimizations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies, leveraging this knowledge to inform product decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Understand and take part in discussions about the consequences of the architectural/technical decision taken by the development team.
Who you are? / What we expect:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of proven track record of success in product management or product ownership roles, preferably within the B2B SaaS industry.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and drive tasks forward independently.
  • Thrives in autonomous environments, taking ownership and delivering results with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional Agile teams.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making, proficient in leveraging analytics tools and metrics to drive product improvements.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-focused mindset and a passion for delivering best-in-class user experiences.
The icing on the cake:

Experience working in pricing software or price optimization software or service lifecycle management.
