enior Procurement Manager – Agro Commodities (Maize, Rice, Broken Rice, Feed Ingredients)

Location: Assam, Chhatishkar, Mathya pradesh.

Experience Required: Minimum 10+ years (Agro Commodities only)

About the Role

we are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Manager with in-depth expertise in agro commodities such as maize, rice, malt, broken rice, and feed ingredients. The candidate must have a strong background in sourcing, vendor management, and procurement strategies within the agro commodity sector, along with a robust network of suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and on board reliable suppliers for agro commodities.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and supply agreements to ensure best quality and value.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers across India.
  • Ensure timely procurement and delivery in coordination with logistics and finance teams.
  • Maintain updated records of suppliers, contracts, and purchase history.
  • Provide regular procurement reports and market updates to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of exclusive agro commodity procurement experience (maize, rice, malt, broken rice, feed ingredients).
  • Strong network of suppliers and proven record in cost-effective sourcing.
  • Multilingual proficiency preferred (Hindi, English, plus regional languages).
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as per business needs.

  • Preferably working in an alcohol distillery as a purchase head

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow market share in agro commodities on pan india

  • • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and customers in India and abroad.
  • • Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts as per company policies.
  • • Track market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to identify new opportunities.
  • • Consistently achieve sales targets while ensuring profitability.
  • • Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management.
  • • Identifying potential location in all states , appoint regional and area sales manager in meeting target set by the management
  • Requirements

  • • Strong industry network and proven record of achieving sales targets.
  • • Multilingual proficiency preferred (Hindi, English, plus regional languages).
  • • Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • • Willingness to travel extensively.

Salary Range: ₹30, ,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
