With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsible for liaising between business team and HR team to finalize the inputs for Payroll calculation – Base compensation, Variable payouts and DeductionsWork with various teams ranging from HR/Operations/Business to adhere to a schedule for payroll calendar and ensure that timelines are maintainedReview the general consolidated payout file and ensure the accuracy of the base details of the employeesTimely upload of the final payout files to the bank systems & follow-up with the authorizers for approval, to ensure payouts are released on timeLiaison with HR payroll team for calculation of Leave, Gratuity and other provisions applicable as per the relevant lawsPayment process and accounting for end of service payoutsPrepare and maintain all payroll related accounting files, records, schedules, general ledgerSupport monthly/quarterly accounting close activities, account maintenance and reconciliations, financial reporting and variance analysis, etc.Review and improve the payroll processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and security.What You will need:Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, General Accounting or a similar fieldMinimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar roleExposure to eCommerce IndustryExtensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes Proficient with payroll software.You are a strategic commercial thinker with impressive analytical skills and critical mindset. You have strong technical skills in Microsoft / Google SuiteYou have outstanding communication skills and can drive projects with different teams across the organization, including senior management stakeholderWho will excel?The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-pressure environment with a strong passion for delivering results.
