You’ll own core modules of our Android app – from video playback and monetization systems to real-time content delivery and sync – and help scale Bullet to millions of users.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect, develop, and optimize the Bullet Android app with a focus on scalable, smooth video playback (ExoPlayer, DRM, caching).Implement and maintain AppSync (GraphQL) integrations for real-time data flows, content sync, and personalized feeds.Collaborate with product and design to build intuitive, fast, and reliable user experiences .Work closely with backend teams to design secure, efficient APIs and GraphQL schemas .Lead debugging and performance tuning across video, networking, and storage layers .Mentor junior developers, enforce clean code standards, testing, and CI/CD best practices .Stay ahead of Android ecosystem updates, Jetpack enhancements, and video tech trends .Requirements5–8 years of professional Android development experience , with strong expertise in Kotlin .Proven track record in video app development – deep experience with ExoPlayer, adaptive streaming (HLS/DASH), DRM, offline playback, and caching .Strong experience with AWS AppSync/GraphQL for real-time APIs and offline data sync.Familiarity with Jetpack components (Compose, Navigation, WorkManager, Room).Strong understanding of app architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture) .Experience with analytics, crash reporting (Firebase, Crashlytics), and CI/CD pipelines .Excellent problem-solving skills, with ability to debug complex video and networking issues .Bonus PointsPrior work in OTT/video-first apps or consumer-scale mobile products .Experience with Web3 wallets, token-based systems, or gamification features .Exposure to performance marketing tools and A/B testing frameworks .Contributions to open-source Android or video player projects .Role DetailsLocation : Bullet HQ – Delhi NCR / MumbaiSalary : Up to ₹12–15 LPA (depending on experience & skills)Joining : Immediate joiners preferredWhat We OfferOpportunity to build a product for 500M+ mobile-first users .Work with a lean, high-ownership team where your impact is visible.Competitive compensation + ESOPs.A culture that values speed, experimentation, and storytelling at scale .If your heart beats for Kotlin, video playback, and real-time sync systems – let’s build the future of microdrama together at Bullet .
