LOCATION - OKHLAKNITWEAR / SWEATER EXPERIENCE PREFERREDREPORTING TO DEPUTY MERCHANDISING MANAGERCLIENT EXPERIENCE - Europe. Mid to high segment brands.Timing:

Roles and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities1. Product Development:Collaborate with design teams to understand product specifications and buyer requirements.Suggest suitable fabrics, trims, and styles for knitwear based on market trends and buyer preferences.Coordinate with sample teams to develop prototypes and ensure timely delivery to buyers.2. Sourcing:Identify and manage relationships with suppliers for yarns, fabrics, trims, and accessories.Negotiate prices and delivery terms with vendors to ensure cost-effective procurement.3. Order Management:Receive and analyze buyer inquiries and purchase orders.Ensure the preparation and dispatch of detailed production plans.Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.4. Quality Control:Liaise with quality assurance teams to ensure knitwear meets international standards.Arrange pre-production meetings to confirm specifications, such as fabric GSM, dyeing standards, and garment measurements.5. Communication:Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication.Provide regular updates to buyers regarding production status, potential delays, and resolutions.6. Documentation:Prepare and maintain detailed records, including tech packs, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and T&A (Time and Action) plans.Ensure all export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin, are in order.
