Role Overview :


As a Java Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of complex software solutions using Java technologies. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, define architectural standards, and ensure that solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development, strong architectural skills, and the ability to lead a team of developers to deliver high-quality solutions.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Architecture Design: Design end-to-end solutions using Java technologies, considering scalability, performance, security, and maintainability aspects.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
  • Prototyping: Create prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate architectural decisions and demonstrate proposed solutions to stakeholders.
  • Code Review: Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards, design principles, and best practices.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization strategies to improve the efficiency and responsiveness of Java applications.
  • Technology Evaluation: Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools relevant to Java development, making recommendations for adoption based on business needs and technical feasibility.
  • Documentation: Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and design decisions, maintaining comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and quality assurance professionals, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

  • Java Development: Extensive hands-on experience in Java development, including proficiency in Java EE/Java SE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other related technologies.
  • Architecture Patterns: Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural styles (e.g., MVC, Microservices, SOA).
  • Database Design: Proficiency in relational database design and SQL programming, with experience in database technologies such as MySQL, Oracle, or PostgreSQL.
  • Cloud Technologies: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience in designing and deploying Java applications in cloud environments.
  • Integration: Experience with integration technologies and protocols (e.g., RESTful APIs, SOAP, JMS) for building distributed systems and service-oriented architectures.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and mentor a team of developers and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile development environments, with a good understanding of Agile principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Certifications : Relevant certifications in Java development or software architecture (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
  • Domain Knowledge : Experience in specific domains such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce is advantageous.
  • Continuous Learning : Commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends through self-study, training, and participation in technical communities.
