Job Purpose To ensure efficient operation of all wastewater treatment units, recycling units and multi effect evaporators of all units as per the norms of local and national laws. Job Context & Major Challenges Job Context: Water scarcity is a major problem faced by the World on account of extreme usage due to availability and pollution. Untreated effluent water causes water borne diseases and the world is facing a climatic change, which has made effective effluent water treatment a necessity. Improper use of water and lack of water treatment is snowballing into a water crisis, which is the biggest problem, as per UN. In this context, we have increased capacity of recycling plants on treated effluent water and also installing MEE to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge status to reduce extraction of Ground Water.Job Challenges: •To ensure availability of quality manpower that are trained in water treatment. Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters)Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)KRA1Effective Implementation of Environmental Practices and Policies• Ensure compliance to norms of SPCB & CPCB and all environment legislations like EPA by ensuring effective O&M of all WWTPs• Oversee and maintain adherence to all SOPs of WWTP• Implement environmental friendly and sustainability procedures to facilitate a safer environment• Ensure adherence to norms of ZLD plant to achieve desired result• Research and thoroughly analyse details of SOPs to ensure that all materials and ingredients used in treatment process are conforming to ethical and environment norms• Keep up to date with relevant changes in environmental legislation and initiatives as applicableKRA2Employee Development• Implement schemes and motivational programs to ensure behavioral adherences to encourage best practices• Act as a Facilitator for environmental issues within JST• Provide training to all stakeholders on environmental issuesKRA3Leveraging Analytics• Assess, analyze and collate environmental performance data to optimize the operational cost and report information to Management• Ensure preparation of all plans, reports and presentations regarding the environmental strategy of the organizationKRA4Liaison with Authorities• Liaison with Pollution Control Board and other environment related government agencies• Coordinate with all internal departments • Interact and develop awareness and garner support from other stake holders, like local society, municipal corporation etc.,
