Expected Work Capabilities

Engineering Build

  • Builds prototypes and proofs of concept to validate technical decisions.
  • Crafts the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions, communicating through functional and technical designs.
  • Validates pre-sales design during design assurance.
  • Participates in, and leads, stakeholder brainstorming, technical planning, and design sessions.
  • Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems.
  • Executes design and implementation according to ConvergeOne and industry best practices.

Engineering Modify

  • Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions
  • Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems.
  • Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs.
  • Leads client facing, and internal training (technology training and/or application specific training).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and produce project deliverables as scoped including modifications to current designs.
  • Ensure quality through enforcement of best practices and project governance.
  • Ensure compliance with ConvergeOne's ISD standards, practices, and processes.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices.
  • Responsible for systems analysis, design, development, integration, enhancement, and deployment as well as application support for various applications

Common Qualifications:

  • Familiar with the installation, configuration, and advanced features of Azure AD Connect
  • Familiar with the configuration and support of 3rd party Identity Platforms and how they function in an overall strategy.
  • Able to articulate and perform migrations from ADFS to Azure Identity/SSO
  • Able to support Azure Enterprise Apps, and App Registrations to support OAuth and other application integrations.
  • Able to understand, perform, and diagnose issues with on-premises Windows Server AD technologies.
  • Able to articulate and perform migrations from Windows Server AD to Azure AD
  • Able to utilize the tools, techniques, understand idiosyncrasies, and provide actionable paths for organizations to successfully migrate from Windows Server AD to Azure AD
  • Able to read, understand, and diagnose PowerShell, Graph scripting.
  • Able to understand Infrastructure as Code/service, templatizing repeatable work, and automation concepts.
  • Able to produce accurate and informative documentation about as-built solutions

Required

Education :

  • 4+ years’ recent experience working with Microsoft solutions.
  • Current Microsoft certification(s) in primary technical competency.

Experience :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Full life-cycle project management.
  • Proven track record of solutions delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Problem-solving mentality and commitment to continuous learning.
  • Willingness and ability to leverage internal and/or external resources.
  • Establish and lead project teams.

  • Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality.

Desired

Education :

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Azure knowledge and experience or equivalent (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Certifications to include:
  • SC-200 Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
  • SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator
  • MS-500 Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
  • MS-102 Microsoft 365 Administrator
  • MD-102: Endpoint Administrator
  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert/Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert

Experience :

  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell
  • Experience and knowledge with Microsoft Office 365, Azure Active Directory, and on premises Windows Server technologies to include Windows Server Active Directory, ADFS, and other Identity Providers, such as Okta, or DUO Cloud
  • Has broad knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server AD technologies to assist organizations make better decisions about their Azure AD implementation.
  • Has good understanding of virtualization and cloud technologies and how they play their part in organizations Azure AD implementation.
  • Has a good understanding of Conditional Access, securing identities, authentication protocols, and Zero Trust methodologies.
  • Familiarization with the following Azure Active Directory/O365 Technologies:
  • Microsoft Compliance Purview & Priva.
