Job Overview The RO Water Plant Maintenance Engineer position is a full-time, mid-level role based in Tiruchirappalli. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the RO water plant, ensuring high-quality water standards are met. This role requires strong technical expertise in various maintenance and technical areas, ensuring compliance and efficient plant operations. Qualifications and Skills Extensive experience in RO Plant Maintenance (Mandatory skill), with the ability to understand and implement complex maintenance protocols. Strong proficiency in water quality testing techniques to ensure the highest standards of water purity and safety. Skilled in preventive maintenance practices to minimize downtime and enhance plant productivity and efficiency. Expertise in managing and maintaining piping systems, ensuring seamless flow and distribution of water throughout the plant. Sound knowledge of electrical systems for effective maintenance and troubleshooting of plant equipment and controls. Ability to conduct compliance auditing to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. Problem-solving skills in troubleshooting to rapidly identify and resolve technical issues and operational challenges. Proficiency in technical documentation to accurately record maintenance activities and plant performance metrics. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the RO water plant to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of plant equipment to prevent unexpected failures. Perform water quality testing and analysis to maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage repair and maintenance of piping and electrical systems to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. Develop and implement maintenance schedules and protocols to extend the lifespan of plant equipment. Coordinate with internal teams to address and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently. Ensure all maintenance activities are documented accurately in compliance with company standards. Participate in regular training sessions and drills to enhance skills and stay updated with industry practices.
