Job description (About the Role)

The individual would be responsible for Pan India Controller responsibility for the Procurement side of FMCG business and would be responsible to drive relevant business partnership, planning & reporting and maintain integrated financial systems that provides accurate information to company leaders and investors in a timely manner. The role would partner business in growth projections, financial simulations, cost leadership and defining road to profitable growth.


What you will bring:

  • Strong business partnership skills, Supply chain awareness, business acumen
  • Sound P&L understanding & knowledge of accounting/financial/operational principles.
  • Experience understanding demand – Supply planning & procurement metrices.
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
  • Responsible for developing SOP’s and efficient processes around business model working closely with compliance function.


Key Deliverables (What Will You Do)

  • Supply chain finance management – Collaborate with S&OP & Procurement teams, Analyse supply chain costs, Inventory Management (Forecast process, SLOB management, driving norms) and working capital management.
  • Monitor and control supply chain costs, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement. Develop and maintain financial models for continuous improvements.
  • Business partnering – Lead cross functional projects & actively engage across key initiatives to drive Supply chain & Operations efficiency.
  • Performance monitoring – Develop and maintain key KPI, prepare weekly/ monthly financial reports, Monitor working capital, inventory levels, and cost management initiatives.
  • System and process – Improve SC financial systems and process, implement best practice, leverage technologies to automate routine task.
  • TPM- Review contract adherence, benchmarking of costs etc.
  • Support in overall business forecasting process, variance analysis & key strategic implementation, as & when required.



Job Specification (What Will You Need)

  • Chartered Accountant with 7+ years of professional experience
  • Experience working with FMCG / Retail companies is preferred.
  • The individual should have very good experience and understanding of financial planning, budgeting and reporting function.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • P&L ownership with business head and FP&A head
  • Appropriate financial and operational measurement and analyses as required by the business leaders for sound business decisions and highlight in timely manner risks and opportunities.
