Role Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented STU Liaisoning Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Power Evacuation Engineer to join our Power Evacuation team in Mumbai. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing all liaison activities with Maharashtra State Transmission Utility (MSETCL) and other State Transmission Utilities (STUs), ensuring smooth approvals, clearances, and commissioning of power evacuation projects and grid connectivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with Maharashtra State Transmission Utility (MSETCL) and other STUs for grid connectivity approvals and commissioning follow-ups.
  • Coordinate site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities with STUs and internal teams.
  • Monitor commissioning schedules, track progress, and escalate issues to ensure timely project completion.
  • Prepare and submit technical reports, compliance documentation, and status updates.
  • Resolve technical and regulatory issues related to STU liaison and commissioning.
  • Maintain records of all communication, approvals, and commissioning milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards throughout the commissioning process.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years experience in power transmission, grid connectivity, commissioning, and STU liaison.
  • Strong knowledge of power evacuation systems, grid codes, and regulatory requirements in Maharashtra.
  • Proven experience working with MSETCL or equivalent State Transmission Utilities.
  • Excellent project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in technical report writing and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with SCADA, EMS systems, and electrical protection schemes.
  • Experience with renewable energy power evacuation projects.
  • Proficient with MS Office and project management tools.
