Job Description:

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Information Security Manager with deep expertise in ISO 27001. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the organization’s efforts to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security management system (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001 standards. This role involves policy development, implementation, and ensuring compliance through internal and external audits. The candidate will also be responsible for guiding the organization through the entire ISO 27001 certification process, from initiation to successful certification.

Key Responsibilities:

1. ISO 27001 Certification:

- Lead the organization’s efforts to achieve ISO 27001 certification, starting from initial assessment to final certification.- Develop a detailed project plan for the ISO 27001 certification process, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.- Coordinate and manage all activities related to the certification process, including risk assessments, gap analysis, and corrective actions.

1. Policy Development & Implementation:

- Develop, review, and update the organization’s information security policies, procedures, and standards in line with ISO 27001 requirements.- Implement and enforce these policies across the organization, ensuring all employees understand and adhere to them.- Ensure continuous improvement of the ISMS by regularly updating policies and procedures based on evolving security threats and regulatory requirements.

1. Audit & Compliance Management:

- Plan, conduct, and manage internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 27001 standards and identify areas for improvement.- Prepare for and manage external audits conducted by certification bodies or other third-party auditors.- Ensure the organization remains compliant with ISO 27001 and other relevant regulatory requirements, such as GDPR, by monitoring changes in legislation and updating the ISMS accordingly.- Track and report on compliance status, audit findings, and corrective actions to senior management.

1. Risk Management:

- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and evaluate potential threats to the organization’s information assets.- Develop and implement risk treatment plans to mitigate identified risks.- Continuously monitor the risk landscape and adjust the ISMS to address new and emerging threats.

1. Training & Awareness:

- Develop and deliver information security training programs to raise awareness among employees about the importance of information security and compliance with ISO 27001.- Ensure that all employees are informed about their roles and responsibilities within the ISMS.

1. Incident Management:

- Develop and maintain an incident response plan in line with ISO 27001 requirements.- Manage and coordinate the response to information security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with reporting obligations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Lead Auditor are highly desirable.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security management, with a focus on ISO 27001 implementation and certification.- Proven experience in policy development, implementation, audit, and compliance management.- Strong knowledge of information security principles, practices, and technologies.- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
