• Conductingcomprehensive eye examinations andassessments.
• Performing surgical proceduressuch as cataract surgery LASIK and other correctivesurgeries.
• Diagnosing and treating eyeconditions such as glaucoma macular degeneration and diabeticretinopathy.
• Prescribing and fitting eyeglassesand contact lenses.
• Collaborating with otherhealthcare professionals to coordinate patientcare.
• Utilizing medical imaging techniques toevaluate eye health and detectabnormalities.
• Educating patients about eyehealth preventive care and treatmentoptions.
• Participating in research and stayingupdated with advancements inophthalmology.
• Documenting patient medicalhistories and treatment plansaccurately.
• Managing and maintaining medicalequipment and instruments.

RequiredQualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine(M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.)degree.
• Completion of an accredited residencyprogram in ophthalmology.
• Board certificationin ophthalmology.
• Valid state medical licenseand DEA registration.
• Demonstrated experiencein performing ophthalmic surgeries.
• Strongdiagnostic and clinical decisionmakingskills.
• Excellent communication andinterpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency inutilizing medical imaging technologies.
• Abilityto work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcareteam.
