We areseeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Security Architectto join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven trackrecord in designing robust security requirements conducting threatmodeling and crafting comprehensive security policies for theSoftware Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role requiresextensive experience in development infrastructure and networksecurity with a strong understanding of Azure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop andimplement security requirements for various software projectsensuring alignment with industry best practices and compliancestandards.
  • Conduct thorough threat modelingexercises to identify potential security vulnerabilities and risksacross systems and applications.
  • Create andmaintain comprehensive security policies and procedures tailored tothe SDLC encompassing all stages from design todeployment.
  • Work closely with crossfunctionalteams including developers infrastructure engineers networkspecialists and project managers to integrate security measuresseamlessly into the development process.
  • Perform regular risk assessments and security audits toevaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls andidentify areas for improvement.
  • Developincident response plans and procedures to effectively address andmitigate security incidents and breaches.
  • Promote security awareness and best practices amongdevelopment teams through training sessions workshops andeducational materials.
  • Provide technicalleadership and guidance on securityrelated matters serving as asubject matter expert within the organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats technologiesand trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organizationssecurity posture

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in ComputerScience Information Security or related field. Advanced degreepreferred.
  • 1015 years of experience in thefield of information security with a focus on security architecturedesign and implementation.
  • Extensiveexperience with cloud environments particularly Microsoft Azureincluding proficiency in Azure security services andfeatures.
  • Strong understanding of softwaredevelopment methodologies and practices with handson experience insoftware development and/or DevOps roles.
  • Indepth knowledge of networking protocols infrastructuresecurity and encryption technologies.
  • Provenexperience in conducting threat modeling exercises and developingsecurity requirements based on identified risks.
  • Experience in crafting and implementing security policiesstandards and procedures across complex IT environments.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM CCSK orequivalent are highly desirable.
  • Excellentcommunication skills with the ability to effectively articulatetechnical concepts to both technical and nontechnicalaudiences.
  • Strong analytical andproblemsolving skills with the ability to think critically andstrategically about security issues
