Company details: FRUTTA is a Chennai based startup by alumni from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) . We help provide convenience and flexibility to a wide range of corporates by aggregating speciality kitchens and providing a portfolio of categories ranging food to snacks (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner , healthy snacks, north indian snacks, south indian snacks, fruit bowls, juices, milkshakes, sandwiches, confectioneries, savories, salads and many more)

Overview:

As an Accounts Manager at Frutta, you will be a vital part of our financial operations team. Your primary responsibility will be managing the team handling the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, reconciling accounts, and liaising with banks and auditor offices to meet all compliance requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Lead and manage the accounts payable and receivable team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in all financial transactions.
  • Accounts Receivable: Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of clients, monitor receivables, and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain optimal cash flow.
  • Accounts Payable: Oversee the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies or issues.
  • Account Reconciliation: Regularly reconcile accounts to ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Compliance: Liaise with banks and auditor offices to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and timely completion of audits.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports, summaries, and analysis to the senior management team.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in the finance department.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to support overall business operations and strategic goals.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to provide insights and support business planning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
