Position: Senior Engineer - Load & Performance Testing
Location: On-site, preferably in Noida
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Overview:
As a Senior Engineer specializing in Load & Performance Testing at Allied Boston, you
will be a critical part of the cybersecurity team, responsible for ensuring that applications
and systems meet performance standards under various load conditions. This role
involves designing, executing, and analysing performance tests to identify potential
bottlenecks and optimize system performance. Your expertise will help ensure the
scalability, reliability, and efficiency of our clients’ digital infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute load and performance test strategies and plans for various applications and systems.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development teams to optimize application performance.
- Analyse performance test results and provide detailed reports, including recommendations for performance improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance meets business requirements.
- Develop and maintain performance testing scripts and scenarios using industry-standard tools.
- Conduct performance benchmarking and capacity planning exercises.
- Ensure test environments are properly configured to simulate production environments.
- Continuously enhance testing methodologies and tools to keep up with industry trends.
Required Skills & Competency :
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Load & Performance Testing.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with scripting and automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of web technologies, databases, and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and testing applications hosted on cloud platforms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose performance issues.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Certified Performance Testing Professional (CPTP)
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.
