Alpha Alternatives is a multi-asset class alternatives asset management platform based out of India and Singapore, with over 12000 crores of assets under management, and deep focus on alpha generation. We are passionate about finding alternative investment opportunities that can deliver superior risk-return characteristics. We operate across various alternative spaces like Commodities, Equities, Absolute Returns, Structured Credit, Fixed Income and Quant. Our products span across various investment structures such as AIF, PMS, NBFC and FPI.

 

Our team consists of 170+ people who are vastly experienced across domestic and global hedge funds and financial institutions and have strong academic credentials at top universities. We are strongly performance driven and look for people who share a similar DNA.

 

We are seeking a skilled Associate with 0-2 years of work experience to join our IT team.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate between internal business teams and third-party software developers.
  • Create and maintain documentation for business requirements and project milestones.
  • Provide functional support for existing software solutions: Master Maintenance, Periodic Data Uploads.

 

Qualifications & Background:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT (BE/BSc/BCA).
  • Having relevant skills and proficiency in –

a) Website Building – wix.com

b) Web Development – Angular JS, PrimeNG

c) Databases – PostgreSQL, MS SQL server

d) Reporting tools – SSRS, Power BI

e) MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint

  • Good written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Prior experience in Fintech domain would be preferred.
  • Relevant work experience is welcome, not mandatory.


Compensation :

Salary will be discussed individually with selected candidates. We value long-term players, and the compensation will have a significant element of performance-linked bonuses. In the long run, if you do well, you can expect to create disproportionately higher value for yourself.

 

Location: Dadar, Mumbai

This will be a fulltime Work from Office role at our Mumbai office. Candidates from outside Mumbai must have clarity on relocating to Mumbai.
