Role Description The role is for a highly skilled .Net C# Development Engineer to join Scitara’s Product Engineering Team. It is a crucial role and will play a very critical part in developing robust backend applications and components for Scitara’s products. It requires collaboration with a dynamic and global team of developers, architects, quality engineering and product management to deliver high-quality products in accordance with Scitara’s product vision and architecture. Key Responsibilities Design and develop .Net C# applications based on specifications and overall product architecture Create application components that integrate with third-party applications with technologies like COM objects, REST APIs Ensure development and implement in line with the overall product architecture Write and maintain clean, efficient, and testable code Collaborate closely with peer developers, architects, quality engineers, and product management teams on the product development initiatives Assist the test engineers in identification of test scenarios and development of automation Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives Maintain compliance towards corporate policies on information security, confidentiality of data, and privacy of data Ideal Candidate Educational Qualifications Bachelor/Master of Engineering or equivalent in Computer Engineering, IT or related field Experience 5-8 years of hands-on experience in development on .Net C# stack Proficiency in building .Net based backend applications using the .Net Framework Strong experience in integrating with third-party applications Experience with agile software development practices Desired Skills Must Have Deep expertise in C# language and .Net Framework Proficient with source control tools like Git, Bitbucket, Github etc. Experience in developing or maintaining build pipelines Hands-on experience working with unit test tools xUnit, NUnit, Moq etc. Experience with Atlassian suite of tools Knowledge of working with cloud frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis) Good to have Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence etc.) Experience in developing or maintaining build pipelines Experience with informatics applications or GxP compliant applications (LIMS, ELN, SDMS) Why Join Us?
