•Ensuring high quality of all components made and making improvements for achieving better quality.
•Monitoring of inward ,In-process quality and final inspection of machined components as well as assemblies.
•Preparing of Control Plans, Control Charts, Work Instructions, Quality Tips, and Inspection Standards, scrap analysis Etc.
•Submitting 8D reports against customer complaints and its closing.
•Identifying areas of obstructions / quality failures, advising on system & process changes for qualitative improvement, with process auditing and product auditing at supplier end.
•Rejection analysis of in-house products due to supplier parts defects and raising the supplier complaints.
•Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements and implementing change.
•Coordinate with suppliers and customers relating to quality trends, performance and corrective action.
•Conducting In-Process audit, Supplier audits, revolving inspection
•Daily review of non-conforming products generated on previous days & take CAPA.
•Conducting training to shop floor operators and quality inspectors regarding customer complaints, product requirement, inspection methods.
•Assistance to NPD & production dept. Regarding Production process, Process Parameters and Quality Control.
•Co-ordinate with IQC & In-process quality to analyse the daily issues & end to end closure with suppliers.
•Manage quality preparation activities for multiple new projects to ensure all milestones meet customer schedules review and approve all new project quality documents prior to submittal to customer including Part inspection standards.
•Final Inspection & Dispatch: Managing a team of 10 people in final inspection & preparation of PDI Report.
•Overall responsible for In-process quality & Machined components.
•Documentation of All Inspection Reports & Responsible for third party material testing & Verification
