Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled ETL + QA Automation Tester to join our Quality Assurance team. The role involves testing ETL processes, databases, and functional aspects of Banking & Financial software products. The ideal candidate should possess strong SQL expertise, ETL testing experience, and exposure to automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform ETL, database, and functional testing for software products.
  • Write, execute, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and validation scripts.
  • Validate source-to-target mapping documents and migrated data records.
  • Perform portal-based functional testing where required.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts to validate and contribute to mapping documents.
  • Execute test cases, report and track defects using Jira / Quality Center or similar tools.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Support automation testing activities using Selenium with Java (basic to intermediate level).
  • Perform API testing (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI – good to have).
  • Contribute to performance testing using JMeter / SSIS (advantageous but not mandatory).

Required Technical Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in ETL/Database testing (MS-SQL mandatory).
  • Strong SQL query writing with joins, T-SQL, and data validation techniques.
  • Experience in automation testing with Selenium + Java (basic to intermediate level).
  • Proficiency in defect tracking & test management tools (Jira, QC, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Ability to independently validate source-to-target data mapping.

Good to Have Skills

  • Experience with JMeter, SSIS or similar tools.
  • API testing exposure (Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI).
  • Programming knowledge in Java / C#.
  • Understanding of QA best practices and standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹60, ₹70,000.00 per month
