Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UX Designer to lead the design of our e-commerce app and website.

This role is crucial as we aim to enhance the user experience across all digital touchpoints, ensuring that our platform is intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our brand values.

The Senior UX Designer will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to create user-centred designs that drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Design System :

- Develop, maintain, and evolve a cohesive design system that ensures consistency across all digital products.

- Ensure that all design components are reusable, scalable, and contribute to a unified user experience.

User Research & Analysis :

- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviours.

- Analyse data to inform design decisions and validate hypotheses.

UX Strategy & Design :

- Develop and implement a UX strategy that aligns with the company's goals.

- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that reflect a deep understanding of user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with product managers, developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible, practical, and effectively implemented.

- Provide design leadership and mentorship to junior designers.

UI/UX Optimization :

- Continuously monitor and improve the user experience across all digital platforms.

- Conduct A/B testing and use analytics tools like Mixpanel and Shopify to optimise design elements based on data-driven insights.

Stakeholder Management :

- Present and articulate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while defending design decisions rooted in user-centred principles.

Innovation :

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to bring innovative ideas to the team.

- Advocate for best practices in UX and foster a culture of design excellence within the organisation.

Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on mobile and web applications.

- Experience in e-commerce or consumer-focused products is highly desirable.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Skills :

- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD

- Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, and user-centred design methodologies.

- Experience with user research methods and usability testing

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
