Role Overview
We're looking for a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in React, Remix, and Firebase to join our team. You’ll play a key role in crafting, optimizing, and scaling our web applications to deliver an intuitive experience for our users. This role will involve shaping the frontend architecture, building new features, and ensuring our platform remains user-friendly and robust. You’ll work closely with our UX designers, backend engineers, and product team to translate complex concepts into accessible, visually compelling solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React, Remix, and Firebase.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to implement and enhance features, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Maintain high code quality, using best practices for readability, performance, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and contribute to development process improvements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, proactively bringing new ideas to the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience (2+ years) as a Frontend Engineer, ideally within a SaaS or tech startup.
- Strong proficiency in React, with a deep understanding of its ecosystem (Redux, Context API, React Hooks, etc.).
- Experience with Remix and Firebase for building scalable, performant web applications.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, JavaScript ES6+, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience with frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, npm) and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools like Jira and Figma.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setup.
Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with other frontend frameworks like Next.js, Remix.
- Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Basic understanding of backend technologies, especially Node.js and Firebase..
- Interest or experience in automated testing and quality assurance.
