Contract Responsibility Designimplement and optimize data systems to support our data meshinfrastructure. Utilize AWS Glue for dataextraction transformation and loading (ETL)processes. Refactor and improve existingdata systems for enhanced efficiency andperformance. Collaborate closely withproduct development and production support teams to meet their dataengineering requirements. Participateactively in peer code reviews to maintain code quality andconsistency. Diagnose and resolve productionissues offering corrective measures and workarounds whennecessary. Continuously assess keyperformance indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities forimprovements and optimizations within our datamesh. DesiredQualifications: Experience inbuilding data systems with realtime data streams (e.g. KafkaKinesis). Bachelor of Science degree in atechnical major (Computer Science Engineering Mathematics) orequivalent industry experience. Familiaritywith other ETL tools (Pentaho Informatica SSISetc.). Knowledge or experience withmicroservices and messaging systems.Experience with supply chain management is aplus. RequiredSkills Strong understanding of AWSservices and AWS Glue Athena and LambdaFunctions Minimum of 5 yearsof relevant experience in dataengineering. Strongunderstanding of complex data architecture especially for data lakeenvironments. Proficiency in ETL conceptswithin modern data applications. ExcellentSQL skills with a focus on PostgreSQL and queryoptimization. Proficiency in Pythonprogramming. Familiarity with MongoDB is aplus. Familiarity with agile developmentpractices. Demonstrated ability in analysisand design of data systems.
