About the Company

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Automation Engineer to help us maintain high-quality standards for our software products by building and managing a robust automation framework using Playwright and Node.js. As a QA Automation Engineer, you’ll be a vital part of our QA and development teams, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers. You will create, manage, and execute automated tests using Playwright and Node.js, ensuring seamless and efficient testing processes that help identify issues early and maintain a high-quality user experience.


About the Role

Design and develop automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Node.js to ensure comprehensive test coverage. Collaborate with product, development, and QA teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test plans and test cases. Write, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts for UI, functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing. Execute and analyze test runs, track and report defects, and work with the development team for timely resolution. Enhance CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated tests to streamline testing processes and improve deployment efficiency. Review and analyze application specifications and create detailed test plans and test cases. Identify areas for automation improvement, and develop innovative solutions for efficient testing. Document test processes, automation setup, and test results.


Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automation frameworks and test scripts using Playwright and Node.js to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).


Required Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in QA automation, with a focus on UI and E2E testing.
  • Proficient in Playwright and Node.js for automated testing.
  • Experience with TypeScript and familiarity with modern development practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI) and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, types, and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in agile/scrum environments.
