Job Summary:

The Merchandiser will be responsible for coordinating between buyers, suppliers, and the production team to ensure timely execution of export orders, from sampling to final shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact between buyers and the company.
  • Develop product samples according to buyer specifications and ensure timely approvals.
  • Monitor fabric and trim sourcing, approvals, and inventory status.
  • Prepare time-and-action (T&A) calendars and follow up with production teams to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Handle order confirmation, costing, and price negotiations with buyers.
  • Monitor quality standards at all stages and coordinate with quality teams.
  • Track order progress and proactively resolve issues that may cause delays.
  • Maintain documentation for buyers, shipping, and compliance.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textiles, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in garment merchandising/export.
  • Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, and garment production processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Previous experience in ERP systems is a plus.
