This is a remote job.The RoleYour role will be to work with our Product Managers, Backend Developers, and QA Testers to:Architect and build new features.Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms.Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks for performance that feels native.Reach out to the open source community to encourage and help implement mission-critical software fixes.Ensure quality and cleanliness of codeEnsure releases are published in a timely mannerWho We Are Looking ForWe are looking for a skilled React Native developer to continuously improve our platform and implement new features. The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing fast, efficient systems, clean modular code and high-quality user-experiences. You will have had at least 2 years of React Native development experience and have:A firm grasp of React Native in particular, and the nuances of the JavaScript language in general.The ability to write well-documented, clean, modular codeProficiency with AI assisted development using Claude code or GeminiRock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflictsFamiliarity with native build tools, like XCode, Gradle, Android Studio, etcUnderstanding of REST APIs, the document request model, and offline storageOther presentation-layer languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, etc.) are a plusCompensationCompensation will be competitive, commensurate with your experience.Why You’ll Love Working With Us:You’ll get to work closely with founders, shape the way an early-stage startup operates, and have a direct impact on our company’s ability to scale and succeed—while enjoying the flexibility that comes with remote work.
