Individuals should beresponsible for their tasks and be accustomed to working in similarroles. Demonstrable experience in handling projects in a leadershipposition would be preferred. The individual would be working fromOffice based in South Delhi India. This role is suitable forcandidates from a variety of professional backgrounds includingthose with research consulting thinktank and corporateexperience.
PrimaryDuties orResponsibilities
  • ResearchInputs and ReportWriting
Deskbased research on the developments in the sector to create acredible repository Develop the researchinputs for the Ongoing programmes andProjects Plan and Conduct primary researchw.r.t One to One Consultations orMultiStakeholderconsultations. Consolidatethe inputs in the form of Short ReportsDeveloping credible Knowledge resources in the form of Short/LongReports Case Studies andBlogs to bepublished and shared with Stakeholderswidely To write policy briefs for selectiveaudiences and research papers suitable for publication inhighquality academicjournals. Development of agenda/notes forvarious activities including meetings/capacitybuildingprograms/workshops conferencespreparing minutes and dissemination. ProvideQualitative Research Input for BusinessProposals
  • Planand Coordinate ResearchProjects
Develop Plans and frameworks for ResearchProjects Identify and engage withstakeholders to carry out indepth research with relevantliteraturereviews and researchmethodologies. This would include but not be limited to thedevelopmentof Concept Notes Proposals andFramework for Stakeholder Input. Work onresearch requests from senior researchers discuss research needsand prepareresponses that synthesize andanalyzeinformation.
Qualificationsand Experience Minimum 2 8years of experience in the field of research policy/industryengagement Background in development studiesor related fields would be importantBackground in energy technology or related field would beimportant Experience in conducting researchand analyzing data (Mixed methods) essentialStrong capability to research write communicate facilitate andpresent cogently to all levelswithgovernment international agencies industries clients and internalstaff and management Significant experienceworking in international development settings with partnersfrommultiple countries almostessential Authoring original work foracademic journal papers conference papers or technicalreportswould be useful but notessential
