Job Description :

Location : Hyderabad ONLY

Experience : 5 - 9 years

Employment Type : Full- Time

Mode of Work : Hybrid

Roles and Responsibilities :

Test Automation Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using UFT for functional and regression testing.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and translate them into effective automated test cases.

Scripting and Framework Development:

- Create and enhance automation frameworks to ensure scalability, reusability, and maintainability of test scripts.

- Develop custom functions and libraries to extend UFT capabilities and improve efficiency.

Test Planning and Execution:

- Work closely with QA and development teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report defects in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintenance and Debugging :

- Conduct regular maintenance of automated test scripts to adapt to changes in application features and functionality.

- Debug and troubleshoot issues identified during automated test Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to ensure a thorough understanding of application functionality.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance Testing :

- Contribute to performance testing efforts by designing and executing automated performance test scripts using UFT.

- Analyze and report performance test results, identifying areas for Create and maintain documentation related to automated test scripts, frameworks, and processes.

- Ensure documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to the broader team.

Training and Support:

- Provide training and support to QA team members on UFT automation best practices.

- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing within the Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- Proven experience as an Automation Engineer with a focus on UFT.

- Strong proficiency in VBScript and UFT scripting.

- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

- Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Certifications in UFT or related automation tools.

- Experience with other automation tools such as Selenium.

- Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
