Position: Calibration Engineer (Medical Device) Experience Required: 10+ Years in Calibration, Measurement & Control Systems Mode: Remote / Part-time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer – Technology Trainer with 10+ years of expertise in calibration, measurement systems, and quality standards. The role involves delivering structured training, preparing candidates for interviews, and mentoring them from beginner to lead level. The trainer will focus on both technology and interview readiness, ensuring candidates are fully prepared for industry roles in instrumentation, metrology, and quality assurance. Responsibilities Conduct end-to-end training programs (Beginner → Lead level) Deliver modules on instrument calibration, metrology, measurement standards, process control, validation, and quality compliance Evaluate and rewrite resumes aligned with calibration industry standards Review, restructure, and enhance project stories for calibration-related projects Prepare real-world case studies, lab simulation exercises, and scenario-based interview questions Design situation-based problem-solving, troubleshooting, and compliance-driven exercises Provide interview readiness documentation: Q&A banks, cheat sheets, and reference materials Conduct technical and HR-style mock interviews with feedback Mentor candidates on calibration certifications and industry standards (ISO 17025, NABL, NIST, etc.) Develop and maintain training materials: presentations, calibration exercises, assignments, and assessments Ensure candidates confidently articulate answers and calibration project stories Stay updated with the latest tools, measurement systems, and compliance updates Requirements Proven hands-on experience in Calibration Engineering across electrical, mechanical, thermal, dimensional, and process instruments Strong expertise in measurement systems, instrumentation, sensors, and metrology tools In-depth knowledge of standards and regulations (ISO 17025, NABL, NIST traceability, ASTM, IEC, ANSI) Prior experience in interviewing, mentoring, and training professionals Ability to evaluate resumes and project stories to match employer expectations Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
