Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) L3 Engineer with deep expertise in container orchestration and cloud platforms. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining robust Kubernetes clusters on Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Confluent Kafka. You will leverage your advanced skills to drive operational efficiency, ensure security, and support complex deployments across multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, implement, and maintain container orchestrator services (AKS, GKE, Kubernetes).
  • Manage and deploy Kafka clusters on Confluent Cloud and configure various Kafka Connectors.
  • Design, set up, and manage Container Registry and its replication.
  • Integrate Active Directory for RBAC and manage ingress/egress connectivity for Kubernetes clusters.
  • Configure and integrate Azure/GCP storages with AKS, GKE, and Kubernetes clusters.
  • Automate and perform rolling upgrades of Kubernetes Clusters and Node images.
  • Design and implement network and security policies for AKS and GKE.
  • Develop custom monitoring/logging solutions using tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
  • Perform Kubernetes cluster migration between environments.
  • Apply expertise in Kubernetes operators and manifests.
  • Implement pod security policies, cluster hardening, and vulnerability scanning (Prisma, CrowdStrike, etc.).
  • Suggest and apply Kubernetes best practices across AKS, GKE, and Kafka environments.
  • Query and analyze logs/metrics in Azure Container/Application Insight.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues related to clusters, nodes, pods, networking, and performance.
  • Utilize Helm, GitHub, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform IAC code, DevOps pipelines, and CLI.
  • Manage workspaces and configurations in Terraform Cloud and TFE.
  • Experience with Azure Fleet Manager.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes security, networking, and storage
