Job Description Lead:


The Network Team Lead will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Stefanini"s customer network infrastructure. This role involves leading a team of Network Engineer I, Network Engineers II, and Sr. Network Engineer to ensure the customer network operates efficiently, securely, and reliably. The Network Team Lead will work closely with other towers, OEMs, and stakeholders to support the organization's business objectives through robust and scalable network solutions. Network Lead will be involved in defining the process of team upskilling. Will be actively participating in supervising BAU activities and will be a part of the escalation matrix.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network engineers.
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Coordinate with the customers regularly and be accountable for the team’s delivery and performance.
  • Participate in the new customer transition and onboarding.
  • Should have strong troubleshooting skills and lead the effort in resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  • Be a part of the escalation matrix, monitor network performance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize network downtime thus reducing the impact.
  • Communicate network status, issues, and changes to stakeholders effectively.

Network Design and Implementation:

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of customer LAN, WAN, Network Security, and wireless networks.
  • Ensure network architecture aligns with business needs and network standardization is implemented.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams (HLD/LLD), configurations, and SOPs.
  • Should coordinate with the OEMs and participate in the resolution discussion and thus resolution of complex cases.
  • Implement and maintain network security policies, procedures, and standards.

Education:

  • B-Tech in CS/ECE/EE will be preferred.
  • Valid CCIE certification is a plus.
  • Cloud certification in AWS/AZURE/GCP will be a plus.
  • Knowledge of ITIL Processes is desired.

Experience:

  • 11+ Years in relevant technology/Domain.
  • Managed Service Provider Exposure within the Service Industry with multiple customer BAU/Operations handling experiences is desirable.

  • Load Balancer (F5 etc.)
  • Cisco ISE
  • Firewall (Fire Power, Palo Alto Firewall, Panorama, FortiGate Firewall, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, and Check Point).
  • Cisco WLC and Wireless.
  • Aruba Wireless.
  • NPM, APM, IPAM, DDI, Infoblox.
  • Good Knowledge of VPN on IPSec and SSL VPN, DMVPN, and GRE.
  • In-depth knowledge of Routing Protocol (BGP, OSPF, etc.), MPLS, QoS.
  • Cisco Access/Core/Stack Switch, Cisco ASR/ISR Router.
  • Experience on Zscaler will be a plus.
  • Experience in the public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) will be a plus.
  • Monitoring Tools, - NPM, IPAM, DDI, SolarWinds, Nagios, Prtg, etc.


API and Automation (Ansible and Python) experience will be a plus.
