Role Description :

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with expertise in Kafka and microservices to join our growing team.

In this full-time, remote position, the Java Developer (Kafka) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions, with a focus on Kafka integration and microservices architecture.

You will work with a team of highly skilled professionals to build robust, high-performance applications while utilizing the Spring Framework and Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance software solutions using Java and Kafka.

- Develop microservices-based applications and deploy them in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or similar.

- Implement and manage message-driven architectures and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.

- Work with the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Data) to build modular and maintainable applications.

- Develop and deploy microservices and integrate them with various backend systems.

- Ensure seamless communication between microservices using RESTful APIs and Kafka for event-driven communication.

- Design and implement fault-tolerant systems, focusing on performance and scalability in a distributed environment.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, QA, Product, etc.) to deliver robust solutions that meet client requirements.

- Participate in regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

- Engage in design and architecture discussions to ensure best practices are followed across the team.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications, addressing performance bottlenecks and scalability challenges.

- Design and implement reusable, maintainable, and modular code in line with industry standards.

- Ensure high availability and reliability of services while adhering to best practices for cloud-native application development.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 2-3 years of experience working with Kafka in a microservices environment.

- Proven experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.

- Solid understanding of Kafka for message brokering and stream processing, with hands-on experience in building and maintaining Kafka-based solutions.

- Strong programming skills in Java, with hands-on experience in building scalable, distributed systems.

- Experience with Apache Kafka and message-driven architectures.

- Proficient in microservices architecture, RESTful services, and related technologies.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data.

- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deploying and managing applications.

- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI, etc
