ResponsibilitiesRetouching, colour management and final colour manipulation across images for the group ensuring optimal colour reproduction, providing image retouching, colour correction and compositing on assigned projects.Editing a high volume (at times) of images under tight deadlinesFollowing procedures for naming, saving, and archiving images-maintain and adhere to server image asset organisation/consistent file naming and image protocolMaintaining image quality and standards, ability to review own work for errors / omissions (QA)Colour conversion/profiling of images (inkweights for newspaper etc)Establishing and maintain retouching standards from a technical and creative standpointEnsuring delivery on deadline and ability to flag any potential issuesMaintaining an efficient workflow with the ability to follow a defined process accurately and consistentlyWorking alongside creative and design teams, contributing creative and technical input, ideas and style direction on projects to drive continuous improvements and efficienciesTaking creative direction from Directors/Managers to achieve high quality outcomesCalibrating the digital manipulation and printing equipment to ensure the best results, produces certified colour proofs using appropriate colour standards and established targetsCommunicating with photographers, stylists, printers and other production team members, foresee and resolve any issues.

Required Skills5+ years' experience of professional retouchingExperience working in 3D/CGI (C4D etc)Strong visual skills with attention to detail and an eye for consistency and colourKnowledge and experience in the retouching of skin tone and complexion and matching colour to product and samples (physical and digital)Ability to work quickly without sacrificing overall image qualityStrong organizational skillsPortfolio of current work demonstrating skill in photo retouching to ensure the manipulation of digital images is produced to the highest quality within a timely mannerExtensive knowledge of Photoshop CS with a complete understanding of colour management and profilesAdvanced technical understanding as well as sensitivity to the creative processThorough understanding of photography and lightKnowledge of photography techniques and image processing softwareHave an eye for detail, art and composition accompanied by a high level of craft.Responsible, dedicated, and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.Fast paced, collaborative and rewardingWe're professionals but don't take ourselves too seriously.We're hard on the work, kind to each other.
