Job Title: Design Engineer / New Product Development Engineer / Assembly Design Engineer

Position Summary: The Design Engineer / New Product Development Engineer / Assembly Design Engineer at Gopani Product Systems Private Limited will play a pivotal role in designing and developing new products, including components for our automated assembly lines and filtration equipment. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a keen interest in advancing product design and automation technology. Significant experience in plastic injection molding processes and design is essential. You will be responsible for working as part of a team to deliver innovative, high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

- System Design and Development: Lead the design and development of mechatronic systems for filtration equipment, encompassing mechanical, electrical, and control aspects.- New Product Development: Drive the design and development of new products, ensuring innovative solutions and meeting market needs.- Prototyping and Testing: Develop prototypes to validate design concepts and conduct thorough testing to ensure robust performance and reliability of mechatronic systems.- Integration and Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate mechanical, electrical, and software components, optimizing system functionality and performance.- Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in mechatronics and product design, and proactively identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.- Project Collaboration: Work with the project team to understand requirements and develop engineering solutions that meet production goals.- Programming and Troubleshooting: Program and troubleshoot robotic and PLC systems to maximize efficiency and reliability.- Simulations and Testing: Conduct simulations and tests to validate the performance of automated systems.- Support and Enhancements: Provide support and enhancements for automation setups to improve functionality and resolve issues.- Technical Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including system designs, specifications, and operating manuals.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering- 5+ years of experience in design engineering, with a strong background in new product development, control systems, injection molding and sensor technology.- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks and simulation tools.- Experience with PLC programming and familiarity with major brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.- Significant experience in plastic injection molding processes and design.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with robotic arms, automation, assembly designing, designing for assembly, conveying systems, infrared sensors, and their application in automation.- Project management experience or certifications is a plus.

Salary Budget: 6 LPA (adjustable for deserving candidates)
