Overview: The role ofOracle Financial (GL) is vital to our organization as it involvesmanaging and maintaining the Oracle Financials General Ledgersystem. The person in this role will play a crucial part inensuring accurate financial reporting maintaining compliance andsupporting organizational decisionmaking through financial dataanalysis.KeyResponsibilities:
  • Configure andmaintain the Oracle Financials General Ledgersystem
  • Collaborate with finance and accountingteams to gather requirements and design financialreports
  • Perform system testing and supportendusers in system utilization
  • Ensure dataintegrity and accuracy within the General Ledgersystem
  • Develop document and implement financeand accounting procedures within thesystem
  • Support monthend and yearend closeprocesses
  • Assist in identifying opportunitiesfor process improvements and automation
  • Provideuser training and support for General Ledger systemfunctionality
  • Participate in system upgradesand enhancements
  • Assist in audit preparationand compliance activities
  • Generate adhocfinancial reports and analysis asneeded
  • Collaborate with IT teams for systemmaintenance and issue resolution
  • Stay informedabout Oracle Financials updates and bestpractices
RequiredQualifications:
  • Bachelors degree inAccounting Finance or related field
  • 3 years ofexperience working with Oracle Financials General Ledgermodule
  • Strong understanding of financialreporting principles and practices
  • Experiencein ERP systems and financial dataanalysis
  • Knowledge of accounting principles andstandards
  • Ability to communicate effectivelywith crossfunctional teams
  • Detailoriented withstrong analytical skills
  • Ability to prioritizeand manage multiple tasks
  • Experience in systemconfiguration and maintenance
  • Understanding offinancial compliance and internalcontrols
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel andother financial tools
  • Certification in OracleFinancials is a plus
  • Strong problemsolving andtroubleshooting abilities
  • Excellentorganizational and time managementskills
  • Ability to work independently and aspart of a team
