Purpose: This is a governance position in the Partner Management Team. The team handles complete governance activities which include selection, evaluation, onboarding, documentation, renewal, and termination process for Business Partners across businesses. The position is supports the business by ensuring all the relevant Business Partners are appropriately approved, in the tool, and ready to do Business. The position also ensures that all alerts are flagged at the right time, and the compliances policies are not violated. The position implements relevant Business Partner strategies which are in force. The position is responsible to independently handle specific parts of Partner Management processes. Knowledge: The position requires a good knowledge of governance topics, business practices, and business models, where Business Partners are involved. The position needs basic legal knowledge and good eye for due diligence. The position requires good knowledge of company financial documents, ownership structures, and audit processes. Skills: The position requires good communication skills, written & verbal, basic lateral thinking, and should be able to take firm stand whenever required. The position interacts with internal & external stake holders such as from Business Heads, Compliance, Finance, Regulatory and Legal, vendors, service providers & Business Partners. Activities: The position is required to manage the following Governance activities:oEvaluate the Business Partner company data, seek clarifications, and create workflows, and get them approved.oGet due diligence reports from external agencies, evaluate them, and flag the alerts.oManage the Business Partner’s registration, along with the relevant employees in relevant tools. oManage Business Partner MIS related to governance topicsoContract managementQualification & Experience: The person should have Finance, legal or Compliance background, with around 6-8 years’ experience in similar roles.
