Digitalcubez is looking for a highly skilled React Native Developer with years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience building high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native. Strong expertise in TypeScript and a proven track record of building and scaling mobile applications.

A solid understanding of DevOps best practices, version control systems (GitHub/GitLab), and hands-on experience with Cursor IDE are essential. Exposure to iOS native development is a significant plus.

React Fundamentals Strong in components, props, state, lifecycle methods, and React hooks (useState, useEffect, useContext, etc.).

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native for both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to application performance, bugs, and compatibility across various devices and operating systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in mobile application development to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, and ES6+.
  • Experience with native build tools like Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, etc.
  • Knowledge of Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and mobile app architecture.
  • Experience with app deployment to Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
  • Understanding of mobile security, performance optimization, and debugging.

Mobile Development Knowledge

  1. Platform Differences Understanding iOS vs Android differences (UI guidelines, navigation gestures, permissions, etc.).
  2. Native Modules Ability to bridge with native code (Java/Swift/Kotlin/Objective-C) when React Native APIs dont cover functionality.
  3. Performance Optimization Techniques like memoization, FlatList optimization, lazy loading, and avoiding unnecessary re-renders.
  4. App Deployment Knowledge of publishing apps to App Store (iOS) and Google Play Store (Android). Optional
  5. Mobile UI/UX Principles – Responsive design, accessibility, animations, and smooth interactions.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Expo, Firebase, or other backend-as-a-service platforms.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools for mobile apps.
  • Familiarity with native Android/iOS development (Java, Swift, Kotlin).
  • UI/UX design understanding.
