Description

A mainframe Deployment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth deployment and maintenance of applications across various target locations on mainframe systems. A Deployment Specialist will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, deploying, and monitoring initiatives related to mainframe deployments and releases, both planned and unplanned. Deployment specialist should be able to anticipate the criticality of a deployment and need to understand the urgency of a release too. The deployment specialist needs to work closely with all the application owners, developers, support team, release management team, governance team and vendor team to understand and gather information about release plan, deployable module information, fallback plan and other specific requirements to ensure a smooth production delivery.
