Job Title: Solo Software Engineer — Core Automation Platform Role: Sole Technical Owner / Full Stack Developer Location: Remote / Bengaluru ownership: foundering co-founder About the Opportunity We are a stealth-mode startup building a specialized data automation platform for a specific industrial application. Our core task is to ingest high-volume, time-series data, apply custom business logic, and generate structured, verifiable reports. You will be the Single Technical Owner , responsible for building the entire Minimum Viable Product (MVP) from end-to-end—a critical, standalone system that processes inputs, performs calculations, and secures output for external audit. Your Responsibilities (Total Technical Ownership) You will own the delivery of the entire technology stack in a compressed 9-week period: Data Processing Engine (Backend Logic): Design and build the Ingestion Pipeline to read and store raw time-series data from various sources (e.g., CSV, APIs). Implement Data Cleansing Modules to handle validation, gap filling (interpolation), and detection of anomalies in high-throughput datasets. Develop the Core Computation Engine to execute version-controlled, deterministic formulas that transform raw inputs into final, verified metrics. Python is ideal for this module 2.Reporting & Audit System (Data Integrity): Architect and implement a tamper-proof logging system using PostgreSQL to maintain an immutable record of all processed data and code versions. Automate the generation of highly structured JSON and PDF reports by combining processed data, audit logs, and metadata. 3.Frontend & Cloud Deployment: Build a minimal, functional React.js dashboard for users to upload files and download final reports. Handle all DevOps: Containerize the application using Docker and manage the deployment of the entire stack onto AWS . Must-Have Technical Qualifications Full Stack Mastery: Proven ability to architect and deliver complete applications using modern Backend (Python/Django or Node.js) and Frontend (React.js ). Audit Focus: Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and experience building database structures optimized for immutable storage or sequential logging. DevOps Autonomy: Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of deployment, including Docker and hands-on experience with AWS . High Agency: You must be comfortable working alone, taking full ownership, and driving technical decisions for the entire project.
