ACI, with its Payments Cloud strategy, is in a great position to solve the growing needs of these financial institutions by renovating the existing and building new products and solutions into a single converged cloud-native solution, ACI Payments Cloud for Real-Time Payments that can address the full spectrum of account-based payments needs: a multi-scheme, multi-channel, service-enabled Real-Time Payment hub that supports both low-value batches, low-value and high-value real-time payments. ACI's strategy will continue to focus on ACI-managed SaaS solutions but in the near term, we are prioritizing scope to support the bank's intentions to deploy/manage ACI's solutions by itself.


Job Description

  • System Engineering : Provide production centric architectural and operational oversight for the development of new or enhanced services and/or products & deploy and support system monitoring tools to measure system performance & determine if it can effectively meet current needs and anticipate future needs
  • System design, performance and strategy : Defining systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing, prototyping, and testing custom technology solutions, and supporting system implementation. to Design and build strong Application and System monitoring and automated self-healing procedures & create and analyze benchmark reports and trends
  • System engineering tools: To provide expertise in operation, migration , configuration ,administration at our datacenter and cloud environments to analyze data from various sources including network traffic, server logs and application logs Create benchmark reports and trends
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Development teams, QA / UAT engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvement to ensure optimal efficiency and experience to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and diagnose system requirements and incidents, providing timely solutions and collaborating with the team to prevent future occurrences and improve on any performance issues


Minimum Qualifications

  • 12 + plus years of experience in managing System performance for complex “ High availability – Low Latency” applications.
  • Deep knowledge of System Programming in C / C++.
  • Strong expertise in Monitoring system performance and make recommendations for improvement to ensure optimal efficiency by Identifying and improving on any performance issues
  • Solid experience Performance engineering or performance tuning experience
  • Deep expertise in various Operating system knowledge, Linux/Unix & using the mainframe platforms a plus & Scripting languages like BASH, PERL and groovy along with experience in Automation and Scripting
  • Excellent Debugging, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of performance analysis tools such as JMeter and NMon
  • Experience using JIRA and AGILE / SCRUM environment.
  • Good experience in cloud computing (preferably Azure).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to both legacy and new age technologies, to solve problems and take the product in new directions.
  • Ability to collaborate with a global team and work with attention to detail & multitask under tight deadlines.


Highly Desired Qualifications

  • Business knowledge about card payments industry is a plus.
  • Previous experience in developing MTS software solutions
  • Business knowledge about the Wire Transfer industry knowledge is a plus
  • Work Experience in Agile Methodology would be preferable.

BE, BTech Comp Science, BTech Electronics, BE / BTech IT, MSc Comp Sc, MCA
