Handling Raw materials Procurement for Pigments Strategic Sourcing – Making Long term and Short term goals for the Category Single Source Eliminations Localization of Import material to de risk supply chain, New Vendor Development, Regular Supplier Visit and Audit Price Negotiations with the all supplier, Spot price, Contract price. Keeping close Eyes on International price trends of Major Feedstock, ICIS Price index. Studying Import data on monthly basis to track Competitions activity and new suppliers Business Allocation to Suppliers (Define Share of Business)/ Volume Negotiations, Payment Term, Rebate Scheme. Price Management- Taking Quote from market, Negotiation, evaluation and Order Placement. Category Management-keeping Track of Latest Technology /Market Trends and Generating Inputs on price and Supply. Local sources development, Cost reduction, Coordination with Technical Team regularly, Vendor Management, Logistics handling Inventory Management- Monitoring Inventory NOD, Reduction In SM/NM by taking Help of R&D. Co ordination with Planning team to ensure material availability, Co ordination with finance team for on time Payment of suppliers, Close co Ordination with CHA for effective custom clearance of shipment with minimum charges
