Role Description

This is a Part-time remote role for a Scrum Master at Rentr. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Scrum Master to join our team on a part-time basis and help guide our development teams to success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Agile Processes: Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Scrum ceremonies.
  • Remove Roadblocks: Proactively identify and eliminate impediments to ensure smooth team progress.
  • Support the Team: Guide and support the development team to stay focused on sprint goals and deliverables.
  • Align with Stakeholders: Collaborate with product owners and project managers to ensure alignment with Rentr’s objectives.
  • Drive Improvement: Encourage continuous improvement in team processes to enhance productivity.
  • Report Progress: Track and communicate Agile metrics to stakeholders for transparency.


Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven Scrum Master experience, ideally in a tech environment.
  • Certifications: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar credentials preferred.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of Agile practices, strong communication and leadership abilities, and effective multitasking.
  • Availability: Part-time, with flexibility to meet team and project needs.
  • Tools: Proficiency with Agile tools like Jira.


Work Hours:

  • First Shift: 2 hours in the morning
  • Second Shift: 2 hours in the afternoon/evening
  • Time Frame: Between 11 AM and 8 PM IST
