Purpose of the job

Responsibilities/core tasks
UX Research: Conduct both quantitative and qualitative user research to define design requirements for internal teams.
Problem Identification: Identify user pain points and opportunities for product improvement.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry and UX trends.
Collaborative Design: Work with other designers to ensure design consistency and effective communication.
Iterative Design: Modify and adapt existing designs based on evolving customer preferences.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop products meeting user and business needs.
Stakeholder Engagement: Present strategic proposals to stakeholders and work with product teams to implement features.
Design System: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system to ensure consistency across products.
Wireframing and UI Design: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test design concepts, iterating based on feedback and develop high-quality user interface designs that align with the brand and provide an exceptional user experience.
Requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction or related fields
6 - 10 years experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects
A good understanding of Design Thinking and other common methodologies
Knowledge and experience with screen design tools such as F igma, Adobe XD or other is a must, experience with other design software is a plus
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design principles.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and front-end development is a plus.
A background in eCommerce or similar fields is preferred
Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
You can effectively communicate with people from different backgrounds, locations, and levels within the organization
Fluent in spoken and written English
Available for 40 hours per week in Hyderabad, India
