Oracle Flexcube Banking Team is looking for a Principal Applications Engineer to be part of Oracle Banking Solution in Bangalore, who will design, develop, test and deploy enterprise applications. Successful candidate will be a technology champion, customer oriented, results driven and passionate about building great products and solutions used by large banking corporations. They should be experienced and hands-on, with the ability to assess different enterprise systems and propose adequate and efficient solutions to prevailing problems so as to improvise/improve them on non-functional and architectural aspects. Theye/she thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to be involved with real business problems.Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications. As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and complete unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products. Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower-level personnel.Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent. Graduate degree (././././8+ years of development experience on Java platforms, UI stack, Database ProgrammingExcellent knowledge of Java/JEE technologies and frameworks such as JPA, JDBC, Web Services paradigms like REST, RDBMS (preferably Oracle)Experience in JavaScript is preferredIn Depth knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL Programming, Experience in building highly scalable large scale applications using Oracle PL/SQLOracle Flexcube Development Experience would be an added advantageIn-depth understanding of RDBMS concepts, and expertise in writing advanced SQL queriesExperience in architecting/designing large scalable applications is a mustDesign and Develop highly efficient code for the product.Detailed knowledge on SOAP and RESTful servicesExperience with UNIX (one of Linux) and WindowsExperience in the development and maintenance of unit tests using a testing framework, such as JUnit, is highly desirableGood to have experience with one or more web application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat,Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Should be strong communicator and able to articulate ideas clearly.Experience in AI/ML, Data Science is an added advantageLeading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.Translate business needs into viable technical solutionsCo-ordination within team and across global IT teamsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsSelf-motivated with demonstrated investigative skills and ability to prioritize and multi-taskCareer Level - IC4
