Job Description

Who you are

You have designed and built a horizontally scalable Magento eCommerce environment in AZURE THAT CLIENT IS MIGRATING TO SHOPIFY. You have experience with EC2, SHOPIFY, S3, ELB, ElastiCache, Cloudfront, SES, & Lambda. You have experience delivering high performing, Highly Available solutions. You have delivered detailed Monitoring solutions built on AZURE.


What you will do

  • Architect and deliver a horizontally scalable solution on AZURE to support Magento migration to Shopify.
  • Ensure solution is designed to be available 99.99% of the time.
  • Ensure best practices are implemented with a focus on scalability and performance.
  • Establish strong working relationships with technical teams alongside a variety of technical resources, including offshore and remote team members.
  • Build trusting and collaborative relationships within the cross-functional product teams that enhance strategic initiatives with internal and external partners.
  • Assist in analysis and resolution of complex production support issues.
  • Ensure the eCommerce site is available and performing 24x7


Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • A minimum of 5+ years’ of Azure, AWS & Cloud Architecture experience.
  • A minimum of 8+ years’ experience working in a Magento 2.3 or higher e-commerce environment and 2-3 years with Shopify.
  • Demonstratable experience with EC2, S3, ELB, ElastiCache, Cloudfront, SES, & Lambda.
  • Demonstratable experience building HA solutions.
  • CloudWatch experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, including senior management team.
  • DevOps experience working with agile development methodologies (Scrum and Lean).
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex, diverse, changing environment where ambiguity and uncertainty can be common.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Experience with Atlassian Product Set.
