Responsibilities

/ Key activities:

1.Manage the activities related to technical database (Part master, BOM, Routing) in ERP.

Part master creation/modification, bill of material (BOM) creation/modification, routing creation/modification in ERP. Engineering change management & database modification based on engineering change request & notice in ERP. Prepare BOM from drawing & upload the same in ERP. Product costing & maintain basic data related to product cost in ERP. Follow ups with concern department to complete allocated task on time. Prepare sales quotations for different customers.

Key skills / Competencies/ Knowledge:

1.Good academic records & analytical skill.

2.Able to read technical drawings, specifications.

3.Any ERP knowledge is must.

4.Hands on engineering change management process.

5.Basic product costing knowledge is preferable.

6.Good in MS-Excel.

Pointers-

Core Competencies & skills: ? Product costing & detailing , Cost estimation for the global customer RFQ’s for their variety of projects.

? Strategic Sourcing and Floating RFQ for supplier’s quotation of purchased parts as well tooling fixtures cost and Capability to develop good rapport with them and negotiate project-based pricing. ? Having exposure in Costing methodologies & input parameters undertaken to produce components. ? Product benchmarking and Tear-down analysis. Value analysis and value engineering. ? Should cost analysis , Design for manufacturing and cost reduction activities like Kaizen.

 ? A Good knowledge of different types of Commodities like Sheet metal fabrication, Casting, Machining, Stamping, Welded assemblies, Plastics etc. RM standards and their equivalent grades and specs, mfg. processes and Metal joining process parameter. Understanding of GD&T, quality standards & clauses.

? An Expertise in system skills like MS Office (Excel, VBA, Word, Access, PP), Sound knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA ERP system and to product cost estimates software's like Forming suite, aPriori etc.

? Hands on experience of CAD Software's like AutoCAD, CATIA V5.

? Proficiency at creating presentations and communicating in a concise, meaningful, and actionable manner to project teams and senior leadership.

? Work collaboratively and be able to communicate effectively globally.

Understand customers’ requirements and detailed analysis on technical specifications by reviewing 2D3D drawings models provided by them.

Making techno commercials offers, Prepare Activity and zero-based costing for manufacture a product according to input parameters like BOM, Process cost, Overheads & burden costs, powder coating surface finish treatment, packaging, rejection & maintenance, transport cost, taxation, profit margin.
