We're looking for a talented and creative Unity Game Developer
to work on a gaming application for children. This person will be responsible for game functionality and for translating concepts, design ideas, and requirements into an engaging player experience. The ideal candidate will have one or more years of experience with Unity development technologies, strong programming and coding skills, a keen eye for detail, and the analytical ability to identify potential issues in a design plan. Working across multiple departments, the Unity developer must have excellent communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong sense of teamwork to develop a unified common vision.

Objectives of this Role

  • Take ownership of features and components in the game lifecycle and contribute to product design and coding.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver complex features on time and at high standards.
  • Work with art, design, and production teams to ensure goals and schedules are met.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, and artists to deliver new games and features as per requirements.
  • Convert design ideas into functional games.
  • Participate in code reviews, brainstorming sessions, and regular team meetings.
  • Ensure clean, maintainable, and well-documented C# code following project standards.
  • Use UVCS (Unity Version Control System) for collaborative development.
  • Integrate AI tools to optimize development workflows.
  • Work with analytics tools to track and improve user engagement and optimize performance.
  • Ensure products meet high industry standards.
  • Work with Unity UI, 2D, and Addressable to implement scalable and optimized content.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in Unity 2D content development.
  • Strong communication skills to work effectively in a team.
  • Proven experience as a Unity or Unity 2D developer.
  • Strong proficiency in C# and object-oriented programming.
  • Knowledge of level planning and design.
  • Fundamental knowledge of 2D/3D game development.
  • Experience in mobile, tablet, Android, and iOS game development.
  • Familiarity with Addressable, ScriptableObjects, JSON, and DOTween.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Ability to handle and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Knowledge of publishing games on the Play Store/App Store.
  • Proficiency with Addressables/Asset Bundles.
  • Knowledge of Firebase or similar backend/analytics solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail.
