About the Role: Key Accountabilities:



  • Supports execution of ingredient/formula/packaging/or BOM specification documents from Product /Package Developers
  • Data management and training of the team for best practice of document control
  • Review and prepare specifications/documents/ BOMs updated by various teams for Product/Package Developer Sr. Role approval. Leads the specification database, ensures relevance and up-to-date of all specifications. Ensures those are complying with organization’s Quality Program Ingredient standards.
  • Review technical documentation provided by suppliers; Approve supplier questionnaire and work with various teams to ensure the information is complete.



Qualifications:



  • Degree in Food Science, Packaging Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 year in similar role
  • Understanding of product, formula, BOM, packaging & process development, ideally within Food Manufacturing and Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment preferred (1 to 2 years’ previous experience)
  • Experience in technical specification interpretation, ingredient science and documentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented – ability to interpret data and distil into useful and relevant information
  • Demonstrate good understanding of Food Safety, Microbiology and Regulatory Affairs.
  • Knowledge of product or packaging development and recipe interpretation is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and all functions of the organization.
  • Good presentation skills (written & verbal)
  • Self-starter and self-motivating
  • Strives for high standards, seeks innovative solutions, drives continuous improvement of processes or methods and demonstrates a high degree of intellectual curiosity
  • Comfortable working with multiple specification systems
